Q. Does Swensen’s Video do a photo introduction?
A. Yes. We do an outstanding photo introduction which consists of 20 photos of the bride in her early years, 20 of the groom and 10 of the couples dating years.. Each photo set is complete with its own song. Most companies do a total of 15- 20 pictures which are shown throughout only one song, and they frequently charge an additional fee for this feature. |
Q. Will my guests be able to see the photo introduction?
A. Yes. With every package we set up a TV/VCR at the reception. We play the video in repeat mode so it continues through cocktails and dinner. |

Q. Can we select the music for our video?
A Yes. We have an extensive music library, as well as a list of most popular choices from which to choose, or you may provide your own special songs. |
Q. How many copies are included with your standard package?
A. Swensen's Video includes one DVD of unedited footage, one edited DVD for the bride and groom and one for each set of parents.. |
Q. Does Swensen's Video include coverage of pre-wedding activities?
A. Yes. We include coverage of the bride putting on her finishing touches in her home, as well as introductions of all the bridesmaids before arriving at the church. We follow the bride to the church where we interview the groom and cover his introductions of all of the groomsmen. This ensures that everyone is properly introduced early in the day, and it allows the wedding party and the happy couple to enjoy the rest of their day uninterrupted. |
Q. When do you see the groom?
A. We film the groom introducing the groomsmen and the parents at the church. This takes approximately 5 minutes and is started 45 minutes before the ceremony. This leaves the groomsman plenty of time to meet, greet and seat the guests. |
Q. What other time do you need of the bride and groom on the wedding day?
A. We only need a few short minutes just before the ceremony. This short interview will add personal messages in the video between the bride and groom. The interview will compose of questions such as, “How did you meet?” or “How did he propose?” |
Q. How will you pick up the audio of our vows?
A. Swensen’s video has the top of the line wireless microphones. We will clip a wireless microphone on the groom and it will pick up audio from the bride, groom and priest. We often find that most men forget they are even wired. |
Q. What will you cover after the wedding ceremony is over?
A. With time permitting, we video the guests leaving the church and then we cover the altar photos. In the future, you will find that this will prove to be very valuable, as it will preserve the family heritage. Most multi- service companies decline to video the altar photographs at all because this would reduce reorders, resulting in reduction of photography profit. |
Q. If we go to a park or a bar between the ceremony and the reception, will the videographer cover these locations?
A. Yes. We do cover these locations. Remember!! We try to arrive at the reception for set up prior to the guests’ arrival so we can capture detail of the reception. |
Q. How will my guests benefit from us choosing to have a wedding video?
A. We always set up a TV to play the photo montage. During the reception your guests can enjoy the video of the bride and groom growing up. |
Q. If we chose to do the large screen, what is included with it?
A. If you decide to go with the large screen, we will upgrade the video montage from 20 pictures each of the bride and groom to 30 pictures and from 10 couple pictures to 20. You and your guests will also be able to enjoy the entire day’s video on our 8 ft. screen during cocktail hour and then the photo montage slide show after dinner. This can be displayed according to how you would like it viewed. |
Q. How much time will the videographer need from the bride and groom during the reception?
A. We will not need any more of your time. Time for you to relax and enjoy! |
Q. How much light will you need at our reception?
A. With our new digital video equipment we are able to produce a high quality video in a low light environment. The lights can be set to your preference. |
Q. Will you stay late at our event?
A. We stay later then most professional video companies. This gives us the opportunity to cover all your late night interviews and drinking and dancing. We leave when your party winds down! |
Q. How will my video close out?
